Strontium APEX Mineral

Strontium (Sr #38) is the next element on the periodic table for my APEX mineral collection.

Wikipedia Strontium
Strontium Minerals - There are many Strontium
 minerals.
Strontianite (SrCO3) with 59% Strontium is the obvious APEX Mineral.
Strontium is highly reactive with water and air.  It is fairly common but not often concentrated in any ores.
Strontium is primarily used in television cathode ray tubes.  It is used in the front panel to block x-ray emissions from harming viewers.
Strontium can easily substitute for Calcium in biologic processes.  Some substitution might even be necessary for improved results.
