Xenon APEX Mineral

Xenon (Xe #54) is the next element on the periodic table for my APEX mineral collection.

Xenon Minerals - There are NO Xenon minerals

Xenon is another Noble gas.  Generally, it won't react with anything and can't create minerals.  This is the first noble gas which can have some reactions with other elements under laboratory conditions.
Xenon is relatively rare in the universe and only traces can be found in the Earths atmosphere.  Xenon has 48 isotopes.  The ratio of these isotopes is an important tool for determining the history of stars and galaxies.  Solid Xenon is much more dense than granite.

Xenon is primarily used in gas discharge lamps which produces color closely approximating noon sunlight.
Xenon wasn't discovered until about 1900.
Xenon has no essential function in biology.
